Wondering what are preserved flowers and the world of these state-of-the-art trendy real flowers?

Preserved flowers are 100% real and natural flowers that have gone through state-of-the-art preservation technology, thus retaining their suppleness and textures whilst being able to last a longer period of time.

To begin, the (real flowers) are first cut at the peak of their bloom (where they are the most beautiful). Then they are soaked in alcohol and dehydrating fluids before colors (dye) are applied to them, hence they are more vibrant and lasting.

Japan and Korea are the first two countries that started this floral preservation technology. At My Eternal Roses, we import high quality preserved roses from Korea, Japan, and even large roses from Ecuador. We also import other flower foliages from Europe, such as Spain and Italy. Occasionally, we also bring in other foliages from China.

Some preserved flowers have soft stems, and most are without stems (like roses). Thus, most of the preserved flowers arrangements are able to accommodate gift boxes and items that do not require stems. At My Eternal Roses, we make use of flower foam and wiring technique such as wiring the foliages or stems to wires or to wooden sticks before arranging them into the flower foam. Good technique and skills will create the most seamless and eye-catching flower arrangement in every bloom box or storage display.

For bouquets, preserved flowers can usually last a good 6-12 months. For arrangements that are enclosed such as dome and displays like frames, or our jewellery boxes, the preserved flowers can last for a good 12-24 months. Preserved flowers will not wither or turn brown, however overtime, the colour of the roses may fade off to white, this is because, most of the preserved roses are dyed in colours during the preservation technology. At My Eternal Roses, we often create a mixture of dried foliages and preserved foliages. Some of the dried foliages are already in a rustic dried form upon purchase, so these will just maintain its look throughout.

  • Do not water the flower arrangement.
  • Avoid direct exposure towards sunlight and heat.
  • Do not place them under wet conditions.
  • Avoid touching them with hands frequently.
  • If dust collects after a few months, it can be removed lightly using an air blower, 20 cm away from it.
